My knives are used by hunters and guides around the world. They have also become popular with collectors and every day users. Below are comments sent by some previous customers....
11/18/09 - Most of the time I get feedback in the form of emails. However, I have a customer who is an older gentleman who doesn't own a computer so he sent a handwritten letter. It was in regards to the Bengal he ordered as a result of seeing it in Blade Magazines December '09 Knifemaker Showcase. He starts with..."Hello Wayne, I had to let you know how much I love the knife you made for me. I collect knives and I own somewhere over 100 knives and this one is so beautiful and so well made that 'it's going to the head of the class'...Your attention to detail is wonderful and the filework is, may I say, Exquisite? The whole thing is just gorgeous...from the special '3D' Desert Ironwood Burl you found for me, to your grind lines, to the sheath"...then he refers to my being laid off from my career in the security alarm industry and deciding to go full time in knifemaking in February '09, he goes on to say, "I'll tell you, you should have quit your job 25 years ago and became a full time knifemaker back then! Now I know 'all you guys' have websites but I don't use the Internet so I want you to mail me pictures of any new knives that you have available right now and whenever you make new ones. I'll be placing multiple orders in the near future if you do!"

11/14/09 - This comment is regarding the Twisted Cripple EDC... "Hi Wayne, This is xxxxxxxx on the forums again (Bladeforums.com), and received your knife earlier today. I have to say that out of all the EDC's I've had in the past, this one by far has one of the best feeling grips and overall balance. XXXXXX already posted a pretty good review for this knife, but i just had to add a little feedback too. Great knife, and I really do feel like these handles were made just for me. One of the best grips on an EDC by miles. Excellent quality all around! Anyway I am actually emailing you because I wanted to just go ahead and pick up another for a rainy day" James - Ohio
9/12/09 - This comment is regarding my Goshawk Bird and Trout model..."Wayne, just a short note to tell you how well your knife performed and was liked at our squirrel hunt in Shawnee, illinois, had to pry it away from some of the 25+ hunters there, after skinning 30+ squirrels it is well blooded and fit for purpose, the notch works well for snaping leg bones as expected. With bird season here in the UK it should get alot more use, I think it may be a bit small for hawgs in NZ next spring though Thank you again for a great knife!". Adrian - England
8/30/09 - This comment is regarding the Twisted Burl Hunter..."Wayne, I'm speechless. It's hard to describe how I am feeling right now. I've left posts in each thread where the knives were featured and a rather lengthy one in the Twisted Burl thread (Bladeforums.com). I hope they serve to bring you more business and to inspire you. Later I plan on posting in the Good, Bad and Ugly forum (Good, of course!!!). I also plan on posting a lengthy review with pictures. This will take some time and also I plan on enjoying them for myself for a while, LOL. I can go on and on about both your knives and your sheaths, but the bottom line is, I "voted" with my wallet. I plan to vote more in the future, LOL! … I also like the band-aids, practical and entertaining at the same time. It serves as a wake-up call and guarantees that you will respect the sharpness of these knives! If I had to choose one word, one word only to describe your knives and your sheaths (because they are both, in my opinion, just as important as the other) I would choose the word, perfection. Thank you, again, Wayne. I have never, and I mean never, been more impressed with the quality and workmanship of these works of art. Sincerely, and with the highest appreciation" Randy - AZ
9/4/09 - Hi Wayne, The latest two knives were delivered today - I especially like how the larger of the two feels in my hand - the others are great, but for me anyway, a little on the skinny side. And sharp? Wooooweeeee! Sure thoughtful of you to send along the Band-aids - probably as sharp an edge as I've ever felt on a knife! Thanks again for your dedication to the craft and for being a downright nice fellow to deal with.

9/1/09 - Hi Wayne, Just letting you know we picked up the box today at the P.O. that contained the first 3 knives/COA's (Certificates of Authenticity) that you made. They are very, very nice and I am already enjoying handling them - even cut some home grown guava fruit a little while ago! Look forward to the next two that are enroute!

And one more...
Wayne, The knife arrived and it looks great!! It's exactly the size I was hoping and it's a beauty. Now I just need to get a deer to test it out... All the best, Cam - NH
As a very recent owner of 2 of your knives, one being the Kestrel in mammoth tooth, it's really hard to put into words this fine piece of work. Pictures can only convey so far as to the true beauty you have created. Great job.

"Hi Wayne, I own about 100 custom knives, and I am so pleased to add your knife to my collection. You create a beautiful knife and then you compliment it with a sheath that is another fine work of art. So many bladesmiths? (knifemakers) miss that part of the presentation. Rest assured that your knife and sheath will always be one of the first that I will present when showing off my collection to others. Thanks so much.

"Wayne, the knife I bought from you arrived safely today. It is a beauty and your craftsmanship is superb. The sheath rivals the knife for beauty. I thought you would like to know that the knife is destined to return to Africa as I intend to give it to Mark Kyriacou as a gift. I have to stop looking at the knife or I may change my mind. Mark is an Outfitter/ProfessionalHunter,that runs Mark Kyriacou Big Game Safaris and has been a good friend over the years http://www.biggameandbirdsafaris.com/. I first met him in 1990 and have been back to his hunting camps 5 or 6 times. I shot a big elephant in one of his camps two years ago and this time I return to run a video camera for a friend of mine that is hunting an elephant. If you visit the SCI Safari Convention in the future, look up Mark and say hello. I have placed your knife and sheath in a nice presentation case with paperwork and will give it to Mark if I can get it safely through baggage handlers.
Thanks for the quality work." Picture enclosed - Charles B. - S. Carolina
"P. S. Me in the blue cap & I could have used one of your knives for the skinning job!"
